You Get What You Put in
Ray Lewis is pure badass, because he proves an awesome point. That relying just on talent or your abilities are not going to get you to the top or make you successful. You HAVE to put in effort, and when you do everything in your power to accomplish something you’ll trump someone with talent and mediocre effort.
The amount of effort you put into something directly relates to the results you get.
I have people that start in Empower and tell me, “I’m so serious about this, cause I really want to hit my goals (what ever that may be)”. And yet they ask me, “Can I just try it out, I’ll see if it works then I’ll get serious, to get those results?”
No. lol I’m pretty honest when I talk to people, because I’ve shown them through mine and all my friend’s success that it does work. So to ask, “if I put in half the investment, will I get the same results” just won’t happen.
And the reason that I’m blunt with people is this. The true fact is:
(effort/investment & skills) x system = results.
So If I tell people that if you put in less effort/investment and you’ll get the same results, I’m LYING, and in turn they actually wont get results.
Some times it can be difficult to be honest, and upfront with people, but if you truly want the best for them and you do want them to succeed honesty is the best thing for them.
So don’t lie to other people, and more importantly to YOURSELF.
